Hi there. I’m in the middle of testing my website, and I have renamed some of the colors of my products. However, once I select the size and color (for example, Black and Medium), WooCommerce automatically lists the selection underneath the dropdowns with the “In Stock” notice, like this:

    [dropdowns]
    Black-M
    In Stock

I know how to get rid of the “In Stock” message, but I can’t figure out how to get rid of the selection notice! Does anyone have any insight on this?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hello @kimbodoster!

    Thanks for reaching out!

Could you please share with us a link to your product page so that we can have a better look?

Sharing with us a screenshot of your product page would also be helpful. You can use a tool like snipboard to share your screenshots with us.

    We will be here!

The site isn’t live yet, so I can’t share that. However, the screenshot can be found here: https://snipboard.io/OZJ57C.jpg.

I did some poking around in the plugin file editor, and was able to finally find the code I needed to remove. For future reference, it can be found in woocommerce/templates/single-product/add-to-cart/variation. For me, this problem is resolved, and I hope it can help others with the same problem in the future. Thanks for your response, Joseph!

    Hi @kimbodoster!

Glad to hear the problem is now resolved ??. Make sure you override templates using a child theme cause if you change it in the default template once you update WooCommerce the original template file will be saved and your change will be lost. There is more information here: https://woocommerce.com/document/template-structure/.

If you have a few minutes, we’d love if you could leave a review on WooCommerce 👇

    Cheers!
