woocommerce problems with multilingual module (WPML)

Hello there,
I have a problem with a website with wordpress and woocommerce, i don’t usually work with them so i need a little help !
Website is not my creation, but i will try to repair it. The problem : The multilingual module (WPML with french and english) doesn’t work, i disactivated it. If i reactivate the module it creates some duplicate in the products : 1 french and the same in english.
Reactivate WPML make all drafts disappear. Disactivate WPML makes them appear. In the same order, if i disactivate WPML and publish products, they disappear after reactivating WPML…
What can i do, how to proceed ? what should i start with ?
For the moment the english version is disactivated and i won’t reactivate it if i have no good solutions.
don’t know what my customer did to make that and he can’t say it.
