I have a quick question before I activate your plugin.

Will this “complete” pre-orders? In other words, will it bypass the pre-order system and automatically charge customers immediately?

    Thank you for your help.

  • Hello,
I was wondering if you found an answer to your question. I have a similar situation: I need virtual products to be able to auto-complete, except virtual products on pre-order. As far as I can see, this plugin autocompletes ALL virtual products even if they are checked as pre-order… ??
I would very much appreciate if you could share if you found a workaround to your setup.
    Thanks!

    Hello @khryzu2,

I found that setting this plugin to autocomplete “paid orders of virtual products only” worked for me.

The problem I was having that was autocompleting ALL of my orders—even the pre-ordered products—was I forget that I put some code in my functions.php that autocompleted Woocommerce orders as well.

Once I removed this code and relied only on this plugin, all of my pre-orders now stay in “active” mode and my paid virtual orders are autocompleted.

Perhaps you have some code or conflicting plugin that is autocompleting your pre-orders.

I hope my reply helps you!

    Hello @kindnessville

Thank you for taking the time to reply back. I will look into the code, but I have not modified Woocommerce out of the box so I don’t think I′ll have anything to remove.

Just to be clear, are your pre-orders also virtual? In my case, setting autocomplete paid orders of virtual products only, overrides the pre-order because mine are also virtual products.

Lastly, which plugin are you using for pre-orders? Maybe if I try the one you are using I can rule out conflicting code between autocomplete and mine.

    Once again, thanks!

    Hello @khryzu2

Ah, that’s probably IT. I bet you have a different pre-order plugin than the one I’m using.

My pre-order product is indeed virtual and it works, so I’m sure it’s the pre-order plugin. How exciting!

I’ve got the official Woocommerce Pre-Order plugin (that you can purchase from WPspring for $10 here: https://wpspring.com/products/woocommerce-pre-orders-plugin/)

If this isn’t the one you have installed, I would highly recommend it.

    In lovingkindness,
    Alex
