    Hello,

    Order notes section did not work after updating WooCommerce plugin! I reverted the old version of the plugin and the problem was solved. But in the old version, the Recent Comments section in the Start section does not work properly!

    We request an urgent update from you for these problems!

    I understand that since updating WooCommerce to its latest version, the order notes section is not working as expected on your end, is this correct?

    Please can you provide clarity on what exactly isn’t working with regard to the order notes so that we can have a better understanding of the exact issue you are experiencing, and also see if we are able to reproduce this on our end?

    A screenshot of what you are seeing may be helpful. Snipboard.io?can be used for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on that page, then paste the URL in this thread.

    Additionally, please can you share a copy of your site System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce?→?Status. Select?Get system report?and then?Copy for support.

    Once you have this, please share the results in your response here.

    I replicated the scenario on my personal site running on the default Storefront theme, however, I am unable to reproduce the issue on my end. As you can see on this test order, the Order Notes are showing the details as expected:

    As requested by @roxannestoltz above, to better picture what you are referring to here, can you please share with us a clear screenshot of what you see on your end so that we could address you more effectively?

    If you don’t already have a screenshot service installed, you can try https://snipboard.io. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.

    Furthermore, if you could please check if there are any patterns or similarities to this issue? Like, same products, same payment gateway used, same category, etc?

    It would also be great to share your System Status Report that you can find via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

    If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

    I am still using woocommerce version 7.5.0 from https://www.bizdemevcut.com.tr I switched to the old version because I got an error in the current version. If you want to see the system live, you can contact me at [email protected].

    Thanks for providing the status report.

    For clarity, are automatically generated order notes not displaying? When adding an order action, are the order notes not updating as expected? Is the order notes section not being displayed at all? What exactly are you experiencing on your end?

    In the meantime, I’d suggest performing a conflict test to see if any theme or plugin conflict may be causing the issue on your end.

    To test, you’ll first want to change the theme on your site to Storefront, then check to see if the issue is still present. If that resolves the issue, you’ll want to get in touch with your theme’s developer and see if they have an update or fix for you.

    If changing the theme doesn’t help, you’ll want to deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and take a look. If that fixes the problem, re-enable the other plugins one by one (gradually), checking after each, to see where the issue is coming from.

    If you don’t want to test on your live site, then create a staging site using a plugin called WP Staging.

    All plugins are disabled, I changed the theme, but the problem is not solved. woocommerce version 7.5.0 has no bugs but current version has bugs.

    I want to clarify, we do not have access to sites i the forums.

    I also understand your point, I was checking on my site that is using Storefront and WooCommerce 7.5.1 and the notes are visible as well.

    To continue investigating, can you please share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if any)?
