Woocommerce plugin vs WP Simple Paypal Cart

  • I currently am trying to configure Woocommerce, and the few products that I have added, but am having a difficult time in getting it to work – so many issues/problems!

    I have contacted the theme developer several times for assistance/advice, but no response.

    I would like to delete the WC plugin and install another – WP Simple PayPal Cart. It looks a lot easier to configure. Although the theme which I purchased from ThemeForest says that Woocommerce is required, can I still delete the plugin, the files, and install/use the easier cart by PayPal? Or does the theme actually NEEDS WC?
