Woocommerce – Plugin that can take a deposit, & monthly payments until paid fo

    I am doing some work for a company https://healthandharmony.com.au and they are currently using Magento, which if anyone has ever used it, is complete garbage.

    Anyways, I am looking to migrate to WooCommerce.

    My question is:

    We sell Distance Education Courses.

    We are wanting to offer a scenario where they pay a deposit, ie. $100 of a total $750 course.

    The Remaining $650 owed would then be paid monthly over 12 months totalling = $55.00 a month.

    This would be taken monthly automatically via Paypal, and each month the system would be able to send an autorespond (Course module) once payment has been taken.

    This is a brilliant solution for our business, and hoping someone can recommend a plugin that can offer this. If there are none, perhaps a plugin we could use and get some customisation done to it.

    I guess it is a LAYAWAY sort of Plugin with Deposit & Subscription. But the subscription ends when the total cost has been paid. And all automated through Paypal.

    Here is a solution offered in a Magento Extension, but like I suggested, Magento is rubbish.

  • It looks like no one answered this, but we could create something like this. Woocommerce supports PayPal subscriptions, but your business is service-based and services aren’t covered in their Seller’s Protection policy, so if a student decided to submit a chargeback after services rendered, the payment would likely be returned and you would be fresh out of $750.
