I just updated a few days ago and lost woocommerce. There was an error with the update and I had numerous problems. I have been able to resolve them all but the WooCommerce. I downloaded WooCommerce from their site and tried to upload it into my WP because when I search for the plugin, it says “An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.remarpro.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.”

When I tried to upload, it says “Installing Plugin from uploaded file: woocommerce.2.2.6.zip

    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the plugin…

    Destination folder already exists. /hermes/bosnaweb07a/b399/ipg.biscottibakeryllccom/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/

    Plugin install failed.”

The way I found the issue is that all my pages under my “shop” section of my website are now gone…which means all my products are gone.

I have deactivated WooDojo and JetPack as I saw that they might be causing a problem but no change.

    Anyone able to help???

Update – I deleted the old WooCommerce file and reinstalled it successfully. It still isn’t showing up in my menu though on the left side of the screen under “dashboard”. Usually it is about midway through down under “Marketplace”, but it isn’t showing up.

Another weird glitch is that I can no longer delete comments. There is no box next to them that I can check to delete them.

whew—all resolved. Found another thread that said to delete woocommerce in the file manager, then reinstall. Activate the WooCommerce Plugin. Then, refresh. Updated menus. That all reset the comment section somehow so all is resolved and I can delete comments now.
