    Hi,
I am also getting a similar problem.
    jQuery.cookie.js/jQuery.cookie.min.js scripts fails to load.
Its the woo-commerce plugin , on activation of which some animation stops working.

My website is hosted on a shared environment server.
By seeing the discussion over here, I queried my host to disable mod_security settings. They say that mod_security settings cannot be modified for a particular account in shared environment.

First of all is this true ?
On some blogs its written that disabling mod_security will increase load on site, can this be a reason ?

I have never purchased anything from woo-commerce, but there seems to be a plugin which can solve this problem.

I am limited to access this plugin and post support requests, shouldn’t this plugin be made accessible to all ?

For a while I began thinking about going in for cart66, read some reviews and I am back to a website where i have disabled woo-commerce.

    Waiting for response.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Hi dakudiv,

As with the original poster, the issue here isn’t in my plugin, it’s in the mod_security settings. This is outside of my control. If your server is denying access to WooCommerce’s scripts then I’d suggest moving hosting. I offer hosting if you’re interested.

They say that mod_security settings cannot be modified for a particular account in shared environment.

That would really depend on their environment.

On some blogs its written that disabling mod_security will increase load on site, can this be a reason

The reason you’re having a problem? Or the reason they can’t disable it on a per-site basis? I can’t see any obvious good reason why disabling mod_security would lead to an increase in load. mod_security performs extra checks on scripts on the system, so I would expect enabling it to increase the load.

I am limited to access this plugin and post support requests, shouldn’t this plugin be made accessible to all ?

I’m not sure if I’m understanding your question here. The plugin is accessible to all.
