I want to start up my online store. I want to start with something low cost until I know what I am doing and get the hang of it/ can benefit from investing in more help.

I was looking at the basic “StartUp Plan” and I just want to make sure that i can link it to my current domain/website I already have setup, and that this is the correct investment and step I should be taking if ALL IM TRYING TO DO IS ADD A STOREFRONT TO MY WEBSITE?

Would love some opinions from those who are experienced with this matter.

    Thank you kindly,

    Raeya Munro

  • Hi Raeya,

    Thanks for your question.

All WordPress plugins are required to be GPL, as well as WooCommerce.

I am assuming you would like to learn more about the WooCommerce license, you can refer to the license.txt file that is included in your WooCommerce plugin download, or review the [GNU General Public License](https://www.fsf.org/) online.

You can download WooCommerce for free right here you will not need a plan, on the other hand, please note there are free and premium extensions (Some of them developed by WooCommerce, others by third party entities) that are compatible with WooCommerce they will extend the functionalities of your site, for example helping you to process payments, facilitating integration with other platforms such as Amazon, Instagram, Facebook, Google; marketing integrations, and more.

Let us know if there are any questions ??
