Woocommerce Paypal Payments NOT WORKING

    Hi,

    I have a problem with accepting paypal payments. I have the woocommerce Paypal payments plug in installed and activated. My paypal account has been integrated with Woocommerce successfully, and status is showing as “connected” in the settings. I connected to Paypal automatically using the “connect to paypal” option in woocommerce.

    When I receive orders that have paid via paypal, the order immediately goes onto pending and then onto hold. The notes on the order state “PayPal order payment is set to PENDING status, details: The payee does not have a PayPal account.” and then “Awaiting payment. Order status changed from Pending payment to On hold.”. The payment has not come through, as my paypal account does not show the transaction at all.

    What is the problem here and how do I resolve it? I have no restrictions on my paypal account, and everything is showing as fine and connected in the woocommerce payment settings.

    All sorted. Went through the settings on the paypal account and found the paypal email address was unconfirmed. Confirmed it and now payments are coming through. Funny how the online chat advisor at paypal couldn’t identify this, telling me my paypal account is all fully operational with no problems.
