    Hello Team Support,


    I already test to reach the support and Niklas + Joost directly on Slack with no answer yet, so that i test here to create a topic.

    We sell vitual product by subscription (Woocommerce 6.8.2 + Subscription 4.1.0) and use Woocommerce Paypal Payment Card Processing (1.9.2).

    1. First order (parent order) evertything works in every country, authorization ok on paypal and capture ok on paypal. Subscription is active.

    2.A. Credit Card from European Union : ?
    When the renewal order is created at the date to renew, the order is created on woocommerce dashboard but keep statut in wc-processing. Problem, payment doesn’t come to paypal.
    >> What says the logs : “ERROR An error occurred while trying to renew the subscription for order 47967: Order does not contain intent.”
    We see that on customers who have credit card which come from Germany, France, Belgium.

    2.B. For outside European Union credit card ?
    Everythig goes right. The renewal order is created. The payment is send to paypal. The return is good. We see that for customers that have credit card from Swiss, UK, USA, Canada.

    Test already done : desactivate all plugin excepted Woo + Woo sub + Woo PP and change theme to twenty twenty => Doesn’t work.

    Other important fact : when we go directly on ou paypal account we can manually created a transaction for a customer UE who have paid by using card processing and it works. For me that mean that authorization works. but we do manually what the plugin should do automatically.

    Answer of the support : They send me woocommerce-paypal-payments.1.9.2-prevent-intent-error.zip BUT it doesn’t work. they simply put in comment “if … ERROR Order does not contain intent.” . So great , we do not have more the error in the logs but it don’t resolve the problem. Payment not send to Paypal and renewal order wait in processing.

    According to me there is probleme with the data sent to paypal for PSD2 or SCA.

    I really need help of expert people.
    We also can pay somebody who can resolve it’s problem.

    I have many many of example like this. When customer card is in UE, renewal by card was NOT send to Paypal. When customer is ouside UE renawal by cards works. When we are directly on paypal after the parent order was ok and after renewal order fail with Woo PPC we are able to create manually on paypal a new transaction on the UE card of the customer because the authorization created by the parent order is always valid.

    You answer me 5 hours ago on this topic in order to follow up the replies on private ticket but i sent you the replies on private ticket yesterday and no answer … So you take time to close here despite the fact that it is not resolved, and don’t take time to answer on private ticket ?

    Sorry to insist but it’s been more than 7 days since we sent to support and nothing has progressed.

    I sent you video screen to show you that with your new version of plugin it works on NO European Union Card (as it was before) and it doesn’t works with an European credit Card without us changing any other parameters.

    And as i showed you on the screenshot it’s not an isolted case, we have 100% of renewal with European Union Card which doesn’t work (several country and several kind of Card Matser / Visa … ) and 100% of NO Union European Card which works well (several country Canada, Swiss, USA and several kind of Card Matser / Visa … )

    I keep the topic open , perhaps somebody else have a idea, or perhaps it could help other people.

    Many thanks to the support team, i hope we could succeed to resolve it as soon as possible because everyday we lose our renewals.

    Did you solve the problem? I have the same situation.
    I noticed that the problem occurs only with users using credit cards, while the automatic renewal works correctly for users who have placed their order by paying with a Paypal account.
    From your story I now understand why, on my sandbox site where I can use “test credit cards” made available by Paypal to the developers, they work without problems (probably these test-cards are recognized as non-EU credit cards).
