“WooCommerce PayPal Express Checkout” option is missing in checkout

Typically issues like this are caused by a theme. As a first step, could you try switching back to a default theme like Twenty Seventeen and disabling all plugins except for WooCommerce and PayPal Express to see if this resolves the issue?

If so, then re-enable each one at a time until you find the one that’s causing the conflict.

Sorry, but I think that there is no Express checkout paypal yellow button on checkout page, it’s only in the cart page.

Please tell me if I am wrong.

@makeonlineshops – The yellow “Express Checkout” button has been removed from the checkout page. PayPal Express Checkout is now listed with the other gateway options you have enabled:

For consistency, only the cart page will show the yellow PayPal button.

I checked again just now.

On /cart/ page I see the yellow express.

if I click PROCEED TO CHECKOUT

I reach /checkout/ page and I see Paypal listed as standard payment.

But I think that there should be a yellow button ON TOP of this page reminding customers that they can still pay without filling the form. Because I am sure from experience that many customers won’t know what to do from this page to pay with their paypal account without filling the form.

If you do not add the yellow button on top of this page I have to tell to my customers:

To Skip the Form Go Back to the Previous Page (CART) and Click on Paypal Yellow Button (Order will be Sent to your Paypal Address)

So it would be better to have the yellow paypal express button on top of the checkout page.

That is a fair point. Normally you can simply type something into your text editor and it will be output. Go to your checkout page and add some content to the main editor.
If this does not work, then your active theme is not supporting this.

However this will need to be custom coded.

Yup, but for now there is option for this. That will have to be a custom job using custom code.
