After placing a test order on your site, I noticed an error stating, “The VAT number or Tax Code field is mandatory.” The VAT field is not part of the core WooCommerce. This indicates that the VAT field is made “Required” by a custom code or a plugin, but the field itself is not visible on the checkout page.

Let’s try to further diagnose the problem together. A good starting point would be to take a look at your System Status Report. This report will help us get a clearer picture of your website’s environment and pinpoint any conflicts or misconfigurations that might be contributing to this issue.

To retrieve your System Status Report, please navigate to WooCommerce > Status within your admin dashboard. From there, click on “Get system report,” then click on “Copy for support.” Once you have copied the report, please paste it in your response here.

I tried to delete and install woocommerce again but I still have the problem…

I followed what you wrote to me step by step and the plug in that created problems was the one that generated the electronic invoice. Obviously I made a backup first and once I deactivated that plugin the site works perfectly. Thanks again
