    Hi there!

    so i am really a woocommerce noob and i need hELP!!
    I have google numerous youtube videos to follow instructions and all. got sandbox account set up but for some reason after the order is placed.

    I would get
    to the thank you page to say my order has been completed
    in my sandbox account the transaction would have been deducted as “unclaimed”
    but for some reason..
    under orders in woocommerce
    my order is stuck “ON HOLD”
    Order notes: Payment pending (unilateral). Order status changed from Pending payment to On hold.

    Any idea why?

    What I tried to do.
    I went to settings –> payment –> paypal –> unchecked IPN Email Notifications –> saved –> placed a new order. still getting the ON HOLD in my new order.

    Then i tried..
    settings –> payment –> paypal –> checked IPN Email Notifications –> saved. proceed to paypal account and enable the setting for IPN. then proceed to placed a new order. still getting the ON HOLD in my new order.

    any idea why? By the way we have WP mail disabled for the time being i am not sure if there are any correlations to this?

    Hi @schenwow,

    I understand you are your orders are set to ON HOLD and your order notes displays “Payment pending (unilateral)”.

    This message usually relates to an issue with the set up of your PayPal account.

    Please reach out to PayPal support and have them verify that everything is in order.

    If you’re still unable to process a transaction after chatting with them, please let us know so we can troubleshoot further.

    Please share a copy of your site’s System Status if you need further assistance. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
    Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
