Thanks for sending that over. Just to clarify, if you place a test order without a coupon using this same address, is tax added to that order.

If you’d like to send a screenshot, you can use a file sharing service like Google Drive, or Dropbox to host the image. Then paste the URL to the image here in your reply. It would be great to have screenshots of your tax options and tax rate table.

The reason I ask is that I was able to replicate your issue when I applied a 100% off coupon, which would be expected as no tax would be calculated/charged on what is essentially a free order.

Can you test using a different coupon, for example, for 10% or 50%? Then, please share your results with us, including a screenshot.

Yes, coupon was used 100%.

Also, admin email does not contain tax when order received and payed with coupon 100%.

When I payed one part with coupon and other by bank transfer the tax was showed.

Not by default, I’m afraid. This is something that’s more noticeable if you use “Excluding Tax” settings. At checkout, when you apply a coupon that covers the full amount of the order, the tax amount is completely removed.

Is there any reason though why you want the tax amounts to show for what is going to be a free order? If you’ll let us know more about your goals, we might be able to suggest something else.

The reason is quate simple it is reports in accounting.

WooCommerce applies coupons before taxes are applied. There’s not a built-in way to adjust this, especially for different tax rates. I’m also not aware of any extensions that would handle this for you.

You could hire a developer to create a plugin for you that does this. There are freelance developers at Codeable who could help you with this if you’d like to go that route.
