Woocommerce order items detail not showing after migration

I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues with your orders after migrating your website to a new server. It sounds like some data didn’t transfer correctly during the migration.

You are right, the product data for your orders is stored in the “woocommerce_order_items” table. There’s also a corresponding “woocommerce_order_itemmeta” table where individual item metadata (like product ID, variation ID, and quantity) is stored.

To resolve your issue, first, please ensure that both these tables are correctly imported into the new server’s database. If one or both of these tables are missing data, you may need to re-export and re-import your database from the source server.

If the above doesn’t solve your issue, you may need to run a database update.

First of all, thanks for your answer. As you asked, I checked my database and I can say that both tables were correctly imported into the new server’s database.
As a reminder, I want to clarify that all the orders made before migration were correctly imported with all their previous details. The one’s that are not getting the detail of order are the one’s since migration have been done.

I looked in details both tables and “woocommerce_order_items” table is getting updated but the column “order_item_id” is not getting updated and keep showing 0 for all new entries. But in this table, i’m able to see the order detail of my client, information that is not showing up on my admin page.
The “woocommerce_order_items” table is not getting updated since the migration. I tried to re-import individually the table but i can’t see any change at all.
Even after trying an update, i can’t manage to make the database connected to my website, is there a way to manually link the table with the plugin ?

To take a closer look, can you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Download for support” (after you scroll down a bit)”.

Here is the system report you asked. You will see two kinds of prefix: del and wpts. Del are from the older database i used to lead some troubleshooting but the ones that are connected are the wpts.

First, let’s ensure that your migration process was completed without any problem. Generally, migration issues may be quite tricky.

It is a bit strange that your woocommerce_order_items table is getting updated but the order_item_id is not. That column should automatically update as new orders are made. The fact that the order_item_id is always 0 might be the cause of the issue.

This can sometimes occur due to connectivity issues, possible plugin conflicts (You might want to run a conflict test, to see if it helps to find the culprit), or even data caching.

If none of these suggestions works, I would recommend getting in touch with the web host of your new server and see if they can provide you with more information.

Hi everyone ! I looked for different things and tried the above solutions but nothing. I couldn’t find what was wrong.
But i finally found a solution, hope it will help people with the same problem.

In my phpadmin i isolated the 2 tables: woocommerce_order_itemmeta and woocommerce_order_itemand changed their prefix from wpts_ to del_ so they are no longer connected to my woocommerce. I then proceeded to regenerate tables from the woocommerce tools and it generated the two new tables: wpts_woocommerce_order_itemmeta and wpts_woocommerce_order_item. I then made a fake order and all went working fine.
