    Hi,

A few days ago I upgraded woocommerce to the latest version on my websites and noticed that the style of notifications had been changed again (went back to the old notification layout).

I had gladly noticed that the notifications style had been changed (I don’t remember well unfortunately in what version of woocommerce). So I was wondering if by any chance it would be possible to add the new woocommerce notifications style (here the screen: https://pasteboard.co/5rH0Pl30AAyn.png) to the next update because the new notifications layout is much nicer than the “standard” one used until now.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @talkiewalkie,

It sounds like your theme may not work well with the block, and you are probably using the legacy cart and checkout block or shortcode.

To explain further, if your theme supports and is compatible with the block, it will display the new notification style. You’ll see the notification in the old legacy style if it doesn’t.

I hope this clarifies your concern. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

    Hi Shameem,
I forwarded your message to my theme support team, I’ll paste their response here:

“To explain further, if your theme supports and is compatible with the block, it will display the new notification style. You’ll see the notification in the old legacy style if it doesn’t.?“

The first screenshot below shows that even in Storefront theme the default WooCommerce theme doesn’t even show the layout that you’re looking for. So Shoptimizer does not control that. Please contact them again and show them the screenshots I gave you that shows even using Storefront, it’s not showing the layout that you’re looking for.

    Can you help me?

    Hi @talkiewalkie,

To clarify, Storefront isn’t entirely a block-based theme (but block compitable) because it still uses the classic single product page template.

If you can access the Site Editor through the Appearance menu, it’s a sign that you’re using a block-based theme. This theme also uses a block-based single product page, which includes the notification block.

However, I’ve done some testing with a block-based theme like Twenty Twenty-Four, but the notification doesn’t match the one you shared. I also tried it with some older versions. So, there’s a chance your theme or a plugin added that button as a customization.

I hope this clarifies your concern. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Hi there. We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
