If I understand you correctly, you are unable to browse the Home section of your Shop page, right?

To better picture what you are referring to here, can you please share with us a clear screenshot of what you see on your end so that we could address you more effectively?

If you don’t already have a screenshot service installed, you can try https://snipboard.io. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.

Meanwhile, for us to investigate this further, can you please try to switch to the default Storefront theme and only WooCommerce plugin is enabled and see if this works?

If so, then this kind of problem is usually caused by your theme or a third-party plugin present on your site. We can run a conflict test to verify this. I’d recommend cloning your site to a staging environment and performing the tests described on this guide without modifying your live site or impacting customers. Many hosts provide staging facilities, so it’s worth checking in with them. It’s also possible to do it using the free WP Staging plugin.

If this was caused by a third-party plugin present on your site, it would be best to reach out to the developers for further assistance here.

If this did not resolve the issue, please share your System Status Report, that will help us further troubleshoot.

You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

I have disabled all the plugins apart from WooCommerce, but I still get the same. I am using Storefront as a Theme.

From what I understand, you are met with the following error message when navigating to WooCommerce → Home:

Please clarify what happens if you click “Reload”?

Also, can you see if deactivating and reactivating WooCommerce makes any difference?

Additionally, I see that you are encountering a 503 error when trying to view your test-log.log. 503 errors are?usually caused by some server-side issue.

Should I delete the log file and see if a new one is deleted?

Yes, please try this and then see if any new errors are generated after navigating to WooCommerce → Home.

If the issue with the error persists, I’d suggest checking the server-side logs for any error or warning messages that could provide more information on the cause of the issue.

I've tried deleting the log file from "Logs" and I am still getting the same - I cannot access the Home page of WooCommerce.

Thanks for sharing the logs!

As a next step please can you try deleting WooCommerce, downloading a fresh copy?here, and then installing.

I’d like to add that deleting the WooCommerce plugin will not affect your WooCommerce data in any way, all orders, customer etc will still be there once WooCommerce has been reinstalled.

We strongly recommend ensuring that you have a good backup of your full site and database before doing this, so that, should something go wrong, you are able to easily restore your site to a functioning state.

So I deleted WooCommerce and all the other WooCommerce plugins, after a backup of the full site. I then cleared the cache and cleared the browsing history in Chrome.

I then reinstalled WooCommerce and the payments, shipping and tax, paypal payments, stripe payments. Cleared the cache again. Clicked on the WooCommerce “Home” and I get exactly the same, even when I reload the page.

Any further suggestions please

I also wasn’t able to replicate the issue on my test site. Can you please contact your hosting provider and request that they install SoapClient on the server?

If that didn’t help, then perhaps try flushing your site’s permalinks by navigating to Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks.

Once in there, click the ‘Save Changes’ button (you don’t need to make actual changes), this should re-write the rules for your site’s .htaccess file.

I had SOAP installed on my server a few days ago. I notice that there was a message saying that it wasn’t installed in one of the status files on Woocommerce.

So I saved the Permalinks settings and cleared the cache. I then cleared the browsing history.

No difference I’m afraid.

Any other suggestions??

I’ve done a bit more on this.

I had the server set to php 7.4 as I also had a test instance of another website using Joomla 3 and it would only work with this php setting. So I have deleted this website and am now using php 8.2.

After I did this, I deleted WooCommerce and cleared out the cache and then opened an incognito browser (chrome) and reinstalled WooCommerce, but it is exactly the same.

Any ideas please?

Thanks for providing an update!

Although not something I was able to personally reproduce, I have seen a similar case where changing the permalink structure (for some reason) from “Post” to “Plain” resolved this same issue.

Could you check if this is perhaps the same on your end by navigating to Settings → Permalinks and change the “Permalink Structure” to “Plain” (don’t forget to save the changes), as seen below:
