    Hi,

    I noticed that recently, email notifications I’m receiving for new orders are delayed.

    Here’s an example:

    Order #7481
    – Payment received on: 4 May 2021 10:13pm (snapshot here)
    – Email notification received on: 5 May 2021 6:12am (snapshot here)

    Can i know how to resolve this issue?

    Thanks for reaching out!

    I see the order emails are being generated but there’s a good chance that the site’s server is delaying them. In this case, you’ll want to look into a dedicated SMTP provider.

    You could also get in touch with your host and see if there are any email delay issues to be fixed. I would then suggest setting up an account at one of the dedicated SMTP providers listed under Suggested Dedicated SMTP Providers in the aforementioned link.

    You can also use a plugin called WP Mail SMTP which will allow you to send email to any functional address, even one you create from your web host.
