    Hello,

I have the WP Mail SMTP plugin installed on my WordPress/WooCommerce site but am having problems with the New Order and Order Complete emails being sent consistently. My mailer is Sendinblue. Most order emails go through ok, but occasionally I will receive an error on my dashboard saying “[invalid_paramenter]: email is not valid in replyTo”. I checked the plugin settings and everything seems to be set up properly and test emails go through ok. Any ideas what could be causing this? It’s making it a bit difficult to fill orders reliably.

My current plugin and WordPress versions are below:

WP Mail SMTP v1.8.0 (I also tested with 1.8.1 with the same problem)
    Woocommerce Version 3.9.1
    WordPress 5.3.2

    Thank you!

  • Hi @happyday25,

The error generally appears for the invalid value of the parameter. You might need to check your Sendinblue logs and check the headers of failing emails, the format, and type. The error probably indicates the issue with the Reply-To header. Is there any chance, you have modified WooCommerce email headers in some way?

    Thanks!

Where do we check the logs?

Hi @firstunicorngifts – Sendinblue might log all the emails sent from your site, or have information about the failed emails. You can also install the email logging plugins to isolate the emails being sent with incorrect format/header. In case it helps, our pro version logs all the emails sent from your site.

    I hope this helps!

Hi @sanzeeb3, I was able to check the Sendinblue logs and found the errors were due to some blacklisting problems on my hosting server and everything seems fixed now. Thanks for your help!

Hi @happyday25 – Thanks for letting us know and I’m glad the issue is now resolved.

    Have a good one!
