    Hi!

After updating Woocommerce for one of my clients website the emails sharing the new account details with her customer aren’t sent any longer. I have also tried to create a new account and request a new password and the email notification does not reach my inbox too.

The other emails (orders, subscriptions) are sent. When I go the Settings – Emails and check this particular email notification, I get this message: This template has been overwritten by your theme and can be found here: jupiter-child/woocommerce/emails/customer-new-account.php

How should I modify this php file to make sure that the new account emails are resent?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

As a first step, are those emails being sent after temporarily switching to a different theme (e.g. one of the default themes like TwentyTwenty or Storefront)? The reason I’m asking is that if the emails are failing due to custom coding, then you’d need to get in touch with a web developer or one of the customisation experts to review the code in that file as it would require logging into your site.
