WooCommerce Membership Roles

  • Hi,

    Is it possible to create and assign a role of “Member” to WooCommerce Membership users?

    I would like to target that role specifically and was wondering if it was at all possible?

    Hi there,

    The WordPress core user role and capabilities system can be managed by many plugins.
    However WooCommerce Memberships does not make use of this at all. Since users can have more than one membership at the same time but not more than one role, the link between user and membership is setup differently.

    I would take a look at the code at how WooCommerce Memberships identifies memberships: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-memberships-function-reference/#section-3 and then work my way from there.
