Woocommerce Marketplace for renting and sharing products

Hi!

Can you explain in more detail the use case here? Are you wanting to create a vendor marketplace (you could use Product Vendors for this)?

If you wish people to be able to rent products to customers, we have Rental Products.

Or do you want the vendors to be able to create a profile then sell the profile to other vendors? Can you explain more what you mean by this? Could they list the profile as a rentable product?

Thank you for your reply.

We want to build a C2C marketplace, where the users are able to rent and lend their own products from home.
So we don’t need the tabs in the registration form that require you to enter a shop name etc.

I see! I do think Product Vendors and Rental Products could be a good fit, with some customisation.

There’s guidance in the documentation about changing the URL slug ‘vendor’, and removing fields from the vendor registration page as you described. If you need to hire someone to help with customisation, we suggest one of the recommended developers on our WooCommerce Customizations Page.

You could also think about using a plugin like LocoTranslate to target and edit some of the fields that refer to shops and commerce specific terms to suit your use case.
