    Hi,

I hope someone can assist me. When I log into WordPress I am automatically logged into Woocommerce as a user. I am trying to edit the Woocommerce login page with CSS Hero, but I can’t get to the login page, because I am already logged in… When I attempt to logout of Woocommerce it logs me out of WordPress, so there’s no way for me to get to the login page while logged into WordPress.

Not sure how to resolve this. Google hasn’t turned anything up.

    Thanks for your help!

  • Try having two browsers up, say use Chrome as a logged-in user, and Safari as a not-logged-in user.

    Hi Lorro,

Thanks for your reply. I’ve tried your suggestion. I have Safari and Firefox (I don’t know if it makes a difference if its Chrome?) and it doesn’t appear to make much difference. As soon as I log into WordPress, Woocommerce logs me in and I can’t then get to the login page.

Aarrgh! I’ve been Googling for a solution, but I can’t find anything online. Perhaps I’m searching the incorrect terms.

    Thanks!

It doesn’t make any difference which two browsers you have. The point is browsers don’t share cookies, so if you are logged-in on one browser it will have your logged-in cookie, but the other won’t. So you can experience being both logged-in and out at the same time just by switching browsers.

So on your logged-out browser you can assess inspect the login page using browser tools, but use your logged-in browser to make css changes. I think not using CSS Hero for the login page would be the way to go, and make css changes manually.

I see what you are saying. Ok, that makes sense, I’m going to do it that way. It will be lifting the bar a bit, but that’s the only way to learn!

    Thanks for your help!
