I have a question about the login form when a user accesses the “submit ticket” page.

I would like to display the woocommerce Login/Registration form instead of the Awesome Support Login. This is essentailly for ascetic and consistency purposes. As well to allow first time users to register without making a purchase.

Is there a filter or a hook I can use to load the form of my choice; when a non logged in user attempts to submit a ticket and requires login or registration.

I read the faq on setting up registration and permissions for woocommerce, but this does not solve my particular use case. It is required in my model of course.

Thanks for any details you can provide.

    Hi @revolvedmedia,

Thanks for your question. I’m going to dissect your question a little bit to ensure I fully understand.

On the Ticket Submit page (log in form for unauthenticated users), you want to present the WooCommerce login form instead. The main reason being to provide a more seamless experience for the user.

You also mentioned “As well to allow first time users to register without making a purchase.” – When they register, are they registering on the WooCommerce form or on the Awesome Support form? (In your use case here)

Base on clarifying those two above items, I can better assist.

    Hi @revolvedmedia,

It’s possible to edit the login/submit tickets page to change how the login is controlled (by WooCommerce or by Awesome support). With customization comes many different options, and it’s difficult to say which is the best option for your exact needs.

I’m going to mark this thread as resolved for now, if you have some more details to share, please let us know and we will go more in depth
