    To properly control this, you’ll need an extension like Conditional Shipping and Payments

    One of the features that suit your specific scenario is being able to exclude shipping methods or zones, based on a product in the cart, which you can specify by either category or shipping class. This works even if additional products are in the cart with the specific product.
