Wow, I installed a WooCommerce for the first time and was stunned by the results.

It was easy to install and set up in the beginning. But then I got to a section where it asked me to set up three items – Facebook, MailChimp and something else. I unchecked Facebook.

But when I clicked “Enable,” nothing happened. I was stuck on that page.

Then I discovered that I couldn’t access my WordPress dashboard. Eventually, I couldn’t even access my home page.

Eventually, I had to delete my entire site and start from scratch.

So here’s my question: What causes this problem, and what steps can I take to prevent it from happening again?

In fact, I’m going to hire someone to install and set up WooCommerce for me, rather than take another chance on crashing my site. But I’m still a little nervous about using a plugin that can wreck my site.
