An error message will prompt as per the title if I activate SG optimizer.

Further research in this support forum has shown that if I disable the SG Optimizer -> Frontend -> JavaScript -> Defer Render-blocking JavaScript, it will work

However, when I visit and click on the above frontend optimizer (it shows 6/6, which I have activated to optimizer before), it doesn’t allow me to activate nor de-activate, I think it is an error in the plugin.

Please assist. I have temporary disabled the plugin as I need revenue from my e-commerce store but I also wish to optimize it for SEO and user-experience purpose.

After reviewing the case I found that the WooCommerce issue is caused by the “Combine JavaScript Files” feature in SG Optimizer. I have disabled this option using WP-CLI and the following command:

    wp sg optimize combine-js disable

You can leave this particular setting disabled and still take advantage of the rest of the features offered by SG Optimizer. Now the products are added successfully to the cart, our plugin is active and your site is properly cached for better performance.

The SG Optimizer frontend optimizations are not accessible through your site’s dashboard due to a conflict with the “Points and Rewards for WooCommerce” plugin. If it is vital for your online project, we would recommend you to report the issue to the plugin developers. The exact error message generated by their plugin can be found in the php_errorlog file which resides in the root directory of your website.

Thanks for executing it on my behalf.

I now realize another problem, my Apple Pay and Google Pay will not appear if I activate SG Optimizer.

The plugin used is “Payment Plugins for Stripe WooCommerce”.

    What could be the cause?

    You are most welcome.

If I understand correctly you are referring to the Google Pay button in the product description. This is related to the “Defer Render-blocking JavaScript” option which had to be disabled as well. From what I see now the button is displayed correctly while the SG Optimizer is active.

If you still experience any issues please start a new support thread so we can look into this further.

    Best regards,
    Dimo Dimov
