I’ve been facing this issue with Woocommerce: Wordfence login error functions overrides the Woocommerce ones and this may be annoying because Woocommerce default error messages are more detailed (for example, Woocommerce informs clients if inserted email is registered, not generally says that email or password are incorrect, as Wordfence does; moreover, messages can be easity customized by using templates or functions).

So: is there any way to let default Woocommerce error functions work as usual? I’d like to leave Wordfence active but displaying Woocommerce error messages…

    Thanks.

  • Hi @christian70

    Thanks for reaching out!

At this time, it is not possible to have the Woocommerce error message override the Wordfence error messages when Wordfence’s Woocommerce settings are enabled.

I hope this helps to clarify.

    Thanks,

    Joshua

I’d better say: “… when Wordfence is active”, because it doesn’t matter if Woocommerce option is enabled or not.

    Thanks for your support, though.
