I’ve verified this by finding SPECIFIC dates on which a return occurred, within woocommerce proper. Order placed 2/17, order refunded 2/18. In Analytics > Revenue, “returns” shows as zero for the whole month, when in fact the returns are non-zero, and nontrivially so. Returns of $1901 on total sales of 20,260.20 – nearly 10% returns, but Analytics is saying zero.

I’ve cleared Analytics cache, to no benefit. The site in question is hosted at Kinsta, and all Kinsta sites are fronted by CloudFlare, so that may be an impact, but I’m not sure.

  • Hi @darrylhadfield

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that the Returns section under Analytics > Revenue shows zero for the whole month when in fact there were returns on your site, correct?

As a first step, please follow the steps below and let us know if these resolve the issue?

    • Analytics > Settings > Date type – set to Date Created
    • WooCommerce > Status > Tools > Clear Analytics Cache
    • Import Historical Data

    Thanks!

    Hello @kk10035,

I understand you have the same problem but we need to handle each request individually in forums.

I also would like to note WooCommerce Admin is no longer a separate extension, it has been merged into the WooCommerce core.

Therefore, please post about this in WooCommerce core forum instead. If you would like to learn more about the merge of WooCommerce Admin, please refer to this blog post.

Furthermore, to provide a clearer understanding of the issue for the contributors in the WooCommerce core forums, kindly attach the following in your newly created thread:

    • A screenshot of the behaviour you’re encountering, you can use Snipboard.

    • A copy of your system status report. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    • It’s also worth checking if there are any fatal error logs from WooCommerce > Status > Logs and choosing from the drop-down menu the fatal-errors.log option.

    Thank you!

@xue28 , “WooCommerce > Status > Tools >?Clear Analytics Cache” did not help. As stated in my original post, I’d already tried that, to no avail.

Import Historical Data” is also useless since we’ve not been using WooCommerce since version 4 – we started long after that.

Analytics > Settings > Date type?– set to?Date Created” appears to have addressed the issue, but I’m concerned now that that needed to be changed, AT ALL. Why?

    Hi,

Analytics > Settings > Date type?– set to?Date Created” appears to have addressed the issue, but I’m concerned now that that needed to be changed, AT ALL. Why?

I’ve seen some thread where this work-around fixes the issue, I think it will be fixed in next releases of WooCommerce, however, I don’t have the exact ETA. If the issue persists in your site, feel free to provide us the system report and error logs to check this better.

    Cheers.

    Hi,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.

    Best.
