    Hi all!

I’m setting up a ecommerce in localhost and importing products through a CSV, the first 120 products were imported without problem but now everytime that I import a product it does not have images. I’m adding the images in the field with a working URL, I know that because before updating you can see what the field has and when I go to that URL I see the image. That URL is to my localhost, I’m uploading it to 2020/07 or 2020/08 and then uploading the .csv with that references.

Something that I noticed is that I can’t see the images in the media gallery.

As I said I’ve use this method for the first 120 products and it worked well, but now I tried everything, plugins, deleting all the images.etc and I can’t get this to work!

I think that is something with the paths, I looked for ALL the posts regarding to similar problems in the forum but nothing solved it.

Is there any way to change the path of where the product takes the image?

    Thank you for your time!

Oh, something that I’ve forgot to mention is that at the beginning when I was uploading a product and the image wasn’t found the log gives me a message like “The image example.png can’t be found”, now I can upload a product with a path that does not have nothing and the CSV import all the products anyway.

    Thanks again!

    Help ??

    Hey @clicked,

We definitely want the product images to come through as well. It’s odd that they would import for some of the initial products, but not for later ones.

Are you using the same CSV file that includes the originally imported products? The reason I ask is if there is some type of error in the CSV file after the products that were imported successfully, that could keep the images from being added. I’ve run across that a time or two.

    Here’s what I would suggest.

    • Make a CSV file with only one product in it. Try importing it and see if the images will import without issue from a URL.
    • If the images don’t import, try picking an image URL from a different server. That way we can make sure it’s not related to the source server.

If you still have trouble, please upload the one product CSV file to a file-sharing site and paste the link here. Something like Google Drive or Dropbox. That way we can see the file and test with it as well.

    Thanks!
