WooCommerce interfering with default WP reset password email

I have WooCommerce active as I plan selling digital products, but would like to use the default WP features, i.e. login, register, password lost/reset.
That’s why I disabled the lost password endpoint by deleting the slug and also disabled sending the corresponding email with the reset link in WooCommerce settings.
Nevertheless, the password reset email is not sent by WordPress until I completely disable WooCommerce.WC seems to suppress the sending by WP. Because, although the endpoint is missing, WC keeps sending the reset mail. When disabling WC from sending the mail in the settings, then no mail is sent at all. Only after deactivating WC.
What can I do?
I am using the latest version of WC (7.5.1 ).Regards
