Thanks for choosing Ignite (and for upgrading)!

Basic integration of WooCommerce is a bit different since it doesn’t utilize a page.php file. Here is a download link to an Ignite Plus child theme with basic WooCommerce integration:

    https://pics.competethemes.com/2C1b0j1a030e

The child theme adds a function in the functions.php file that establishes support for WooCommerce, and a woocommerce.php file that acts as a template for all WooCommerce pages.

This won’t add any styling specifically for the WooCommerce shop pages, but it will ensure the correct content is displayed.

    Thank you For your response!

What do i do with this child theme? i installed it in themes but i saw no changes/improvements. https://gordonneufeld.thegoodquestion.pl/shop page is still broken

Now i have an issue with Woo Event Calender.

If you have any tips for event calender, ive tried changing all the options, and i’ve tried other themes, it works there.

    here is the page

Its a shamme because I love this theme more than anything else out there. its perfect in all ways. I hate experimenting because im always let down, id hate to have to change theme for bug reasons ??

    Thanks again,
    Mike

We’ll get it working, might just take a few steps ??

I’m visiting the site now, and while the child theme is installed it looks like it’s not active yet. Try making it the active theme via the Appearance menu.

When you make the child theme active, Ignite Plus will still technically be the active theme. The only changes will be that the WooCommerce page should now display the products, and you may notice your Customizer settings change back to the default (i.e. the red will return to orange).

On child theme VS parent theme customizer settings

The Ignite Plus Child theme will let you save new settings in the Customizer. You can always reactivate the Ignite Plus theme and your previous Customizer settings will come right back. WordPress just keeps these settings unique for each theme (a bit weird, I know).

The Customizer Export/Import plugin can be used to quickly transfer your settings from the Ignite Plus theme to the Ignite Plus Child theme. This will include the colors you’ve chosen, the social icons, etc.

Thanks for the advice! it must be a little better but i can’t say that it worked :/ the shop seems fixed, but the events page is still bunk ??

i may just go look for external help, but if any other ideas come to mind, please let me know!

    woocommerce.php exists.

fixed it. In Events Calendar display settings only this option works:
    Events template FULL WIDTH

edit: im sure the child theme you sent helped with some of the integration. There were other issues which were solved, more woocommerce related then the events calendar. Thank you once again for your responses and patience; i doth not felt-eth alone.

No problem, thanks for sharing the tip here! Glad the full width template helped ??
