The following database tables are missing after WooCommerce installation: wp_wc_orders, wp_wc_order_addresses, wp_wc_order_operational_data, wp_wc_orders_meta. Disable all plugins, delete all database tables and new installation, setup new Database and installation WooCommerce in an older version. Nothing of this solved the issue.

    Hi @steffen34ik,

    Thank you for reaching out.

I understand that you’re experiencing issues with missing database tables after WooCommerce installation.

Firstly, it’s important to note that the tables you mentioned (wp_wc_orders, wp_wc_order_addresses, wp_wc_order_operational_data, wp_wc_orders_meta) are not default WooCommerce tables. The default WooCommerce tables can be found here.

If your tables are missing, it may be due to a third-party plugin or extension that may not be functioning correctly or is incompatible with your version of WooCommerce.

Just curious, are you getting any error messages after installing the WooCommerce plugin?

After the installations I always receive a information/ message that the named database tables could not be created. I also occasionally receive an email from WordPress warning me that WooCommerce has caused a fatal error on my website. I had already forwarded this message to you via email.

The website is still relatively “young” and doesn’t have much content yet, I’ll try reinstalling WordPress and work my way up to this status step by step. The difference will be that I will install Woocommerce right at the start. I have already carried out a lot of WooCommerce installations so far, an error like this is foreign to me. If this or a related problem occurs again after this installation, I will report back here.

    Hi again @steffen34ik,

Before you proceed with reinstalling WordPress and WooCommerce, I would suggest you to make a backup of your site and try running the installations from a staging site to avoid ruining your live site. This will ensure you have your live site running without any interference.

Also, it would be helpful to install a basic theme like Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four initially, to eliminate any potential theme conflicts. Please be sure to have only WooCommerce as the active theme.

Once you’ve reinstalled WordPress and WooCommerce, if the issue persists, please do reach out to us with the specific error messages you’re receiving, and we’ll be more than happy to assist you further.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I did it. I also changed the hosting provider. The shop seems to be up and running now. What have I done? On the one hand, the checkout page was missing and I had to create it again. The reference to the checkout page was incorrect, so I assigned it correctly. With the plugins deactivated it worked. The main culprit was probably a caching plugin that I forgot to deactivate during the first installation. I’m still not completely satisfied because I don’t know what else wasn’t installed correctly because of the caching plugin, because the purchase didn’t work yet.

    Hello ?? @steffen34ik,

I’m glad to know you were able to change your hosting and identified a caching plugin as a possible culprit.

It is possible both your host and the caching plugins resulted in the issue, but I’m glad you were able to install everything correctly.

I recommend making test purchases in scenarios like, while logged in as a customer and another while not logged in, just to be sure that your cart page works fine and your customers don’t get to come across any issues once you go live.

Let us know if you need further assistance. We’re here to help.
