Woocommerce installation

  • Hi, i am a new user,i tried to install woocommerce on my website but it says update failed,i havent installed it before.

    Unfortunately it is almost impossible for a volunteer to troubleshoot with such limited information.
    You may want to consider taking a screenshot of the error and share it here using any photo-sharing service you feel comfortable using. A possible service would be imgur.com

    You can only share links to images here.

    Here it is,this is the first time i tried to install woocommerce

    It seems you are using free hosting. Your hosting provider might have set restrictions on free hosting which might have caused this issue.

    In case you wish to test WordPress, you can try installing on local machine.

    can you suggest any free hosting where i can practice as i am just a beginner

    If you visit https://woocommerce.com you should see a banner at the top of the page with an offer of 3 months’ hosting for $1 (via GoDaddy).
    You would need to check if the offer is still available though.

    Joy also recommended https://wpsandbox.net/
    It creates a temporary site that will be deleted after the stated time. It is just meant to give you an opportunity to play around / learn.
