woocommerce incompatibility,

    In the backend, the home page, containing woocommerce shortcode not appearing.
    In the right column (in the Publish box) appear: Fatal error: Call to undefined function woocommerce_product_loop_start() in /var/www/xxxxxxxx.xx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/class-wc-shortcodes.php on line 788

    I deactivate all plugin except woocommerce, and reactivate one by one, and when activate the SEO plugin the problem is occurred.

    What is the solution?

  • when you use woocommerce there is not reason to use seo by yoast because woocommerce is seo optimized.

    but i use under another site this plugins together and this error not appear.

    I’m having the same issue as laszlo69, and I use the SEO plugin for the entire site, not just the products, so I need to be able to have everything functioning properly regardless of whether or not I’m using Woocommerce.

    This error just recently started happening with recent updates. The woocommerce product shortcode does not play nicely with the SEO plugin. I’m getting a slightly different error, but same file:
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function woocommerce_product_loop_start() in wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/class-wc-shortcodes.php on line 463.

    Deactivating SEO plugin seems to be the only solution through wordpress dashboard. Does anyone have any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?

    FYI – Installed most recent update (1.7.3.3) and the problem is fixed.
