Woocommerce image generator

Could you please tell me how i can disable the woocommerce image generator using a simple function.php script maybe?

The problem is, i have a paid image optimization plugin like TinyPNG, & and after saving the customize window this is the second time accidentally the new woocommerce image engine was regenerating thumbnails.

This left me with unoptimized thumbnails forcing me to optimize all my images again and again.

With +1000image it is expensieve and unnecessary…
