• Hello,

Hoping that someone may have come across this and can add some insight into the best way to do this.

Basically, what we’d like to do is detect which product a customer has purchased (for example Product A or Product B). Based on the specific product we’d then like to provide a specific link to user in the email when Order is marked ‘Completed’.

The reason we want to do this is we’ve found that it’s very difficult for our users to place reviews for our products. We get many emails and phone calls for people who want to leave reviews but simply cannot find where and how to do so. Therefore our idea is to include one line of text “If you’re happy with our product we encourage you to leave a review here (shortURL).”

(The shortURL will simply take the user directly to the specific product page (eg Product A) where he or she can leave their review. )
*NOTE: the focus of this post does not involve the shortURL – this is something we can take care of. The purpose of this post is to understand how to properly detect the product which was purchased and how to create an action based on that.

Additionally, we’re using WooCommerce PDF Invoice which we thought about including this line on the invoice as well.

Anyway, if someone has an idea or recommendation on the process or maybe the best approach to achieve this it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,
    Aaron
