Woocommerce – Hide Products & Categories

    I have a Woocommerce store where I’m hoping to hide specific products so that only logged-in users can see and purchase them. I have this plugin configured to also hide pages, and that is working perfectly, but I can’t get the specific products to be hidden also.

    The products I want to hide are assigned a specific category. I’ve tried selecting multiple combinations of “Product Categories: Selected”, “Product Categories with IDs”, “Product Tags: Selected”, and even multiple “Products; A Selected Product, A Product with ID, a product with Category” and nothing has worked yet.

    I’ve tried changing the product catalog visibility, and adjusting the categories and nothing has worked. Are there any suggestions to show products & Listings only for logged-in users with this plugin?

    Hi @lexi73,

    Could you show us a screenshot of your current restriction setting?

    If you’re currently using the AND operator on your content combinations, please try using OR instead.

    I’ve tried all types of combinations, but nothing seems to work.

    Basically, I’d like any product that belongs to a category to only be visible to those who are logged in. Additionally, I have a product category page that should show all of these items if a user is logged in, OR be blank for a guest user. I’ve tried “and” as well as “or” functions and neither is working.

    Hi @lexi73,

    Thanks for the screenshot and the additional details.

    The ‘Product’ options in Content Control will only hide the product page itself. They will still be seen listed on product pages, but once a restricted user clicks the product, the restriction rule will then apply.

    I’m afraid hiding the products from a product listing page is not possible at the moment.

    Thanks for the reply… This would greatly expand the usability of this plugin for future development plans.
