• Hello –

I am trying to activate the WooCommerce plugin to my site – ignitetheindustry.com. I’m getting the fatal error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_using_ext_object_cache() in /home/igniteth/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/wc-product-functions.php on line 82

Anyone know what I can do? Do I need to update to 3.9 to do so?

Thanks for any and all help! I’m new to all of this..

  • Sounds like a question for the WooCommerce forum ??

    Hi folks,

You get into a fatal error because you have a light version of the plugin installed. You have to turn it off before installing version because they are the same plug-in basis – and WordPress will not allow the same plugin must be activated immediately.

If you disable the version Lite – then activate the Pro version with your license key it will save all the settings you made in lightweight and you will be able to use advanced functions of the Pro version.

I didn’t have any WooCommerce plug-ins installed but got the same error. I think it may be because the new version of WooCommerce 2.1.9 requires WordPress 3.8 or higher.
