• I have no absolutely no idea what else to do. I followed all the forums and others strategies but nothing is working. I’m still getting this message when I log into my website and backend:

Fatal error: GeoIP API: Error traversing database – perhaps it is corrupt? in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas10_data02/14/2636714/html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/class-wc-geo-ip.php on line 1535

    https://www.grizzlybk.com

    1) I went through FTP and renamed the plugins folder and was able to get into the backend and update all my plugins (including WooCommerce). Still didn’t work.
    2) I deleted the GeoIP files as recommended by someone. Still didn’t work.
    3) I changed my Geolocation to No Address in the backend. Still didn’t work.

I have no idea what else to do. Does anyone know what the problem or how I can fix this? I’m literally about to just scrap this website altogether. This has been days.

    Please Help. ??

  • Same crazy random error on https://www.learninglegion.com after not even messing with it for over a month (and it was fine when I last touched it).. ??

I got this notification also… out of the blue with no warning and my site was completely down with only this message: “Fatal Error: GeoIP API: Error traversing database – perhaps it’s corrupt? in /home/content/p3nexwpnas09_data03/62/2846462/html/wp-content/plugins/woocomerce/includes/class-wc-geo-ip.php on line 1535”

If I access my the Woocmmerce plugin via SFTP, I can disable the woocommerce plugin by changing it from “woocomerce” to something like “woocommerce-disabled.”

If I then change it back to “woocomerce”, the site displays just fine, but only for a while. It has reverted back 3 times now.

Anyone know how to fix this, or what’s causing it?

Hosting? another plugin that isn’t playing nice?

Other plugins may also be using WooCommerce GeoIP. Try disabling all other plugins – this is the first thing I would do.

EDIT: Hosting also may cause this. WPEngine are not allowing GeoIP module to work. Instead they want users to pay for their own geolocation module.
