    Hi!

Woocommerce is installed on WordPress and was working yesterday. However since this morning the plug-in creates a fatal error. I have already deactivated al the plugins (with php and on the backend of the site), changed themes and tried to increase the WordPress memory limit. However, when I try to activate the plug-in it can’t be activated because it creates a fatal error. What else can I do?

    Hi!

    Thank you for your response.

I can’t find the System Status Report because the plug-in is not activated and it is not showing up in the left sidebar.

    Hello @jannekevanam,

Thanks for sharing an update on the issue. Is it possible to reinstall the WooCommerce plugin afresh and see if the error persists? Please only have WooCommerce as the active plugin, leaving all other plugins deactivated.

Let us know how it goes.

    Hi,

I reinstalled WooCommerce (firstly had to delete al connected plug-inns). Right now it is also activated :). Is there a way with I can get al the previously installed settings and products back online?

    Hi @jannekevanam,

That’s correct! Desinstalling and reinstalling WooCommerce will keep your settings, products, orders, etc. It takes a special process to fully remove WooCommerce and all its data, this is meant for cases like this where you have to reinstall the plugin for any circunstances.

I’m glad reinstalling solved the fatal error for you! So I’m going to mark this as resolved. Feel free to start a new thread if you have any more questions.

    All the best,
    Omar
