• Hello! I just launched our new cookie store at kurtycooks.com, but I got 2/6 purchases as “Failed” transactions. I looked online and noticed this was a very common occurrence.

    Both transactions showed this error message:
    “A payment of?$xx.00?failed. We couldn’t verify the postal code in the billing address. If the issue persists, suggest the customer to reach out to the card issuing bank.”

    I’m sure that the zips are correct because I DID reach out to verify. I’d really love your help in solving this problem!

    It also was interesting to note that the ones that did go through did NOT have an even number like this (ending in 0’s)

  • WordPress doesn’t come with any e-commerce or payment processing features out of the box.

    This is an issue with the payments WooCommerce Payments plugin you’re using along with the WooCommerce plugin for your store.

    I understand waiting for a day and not receding any response can be frustrating, but there’s really not much we can do to help you here. Only the WooCommerce Payments support staff can pull your account, check the transactions your site is processing, and let you know why some are failing.

    … so I’ll recommend you click on the above link and open a support ticket directly at WooCommerce.com, so their support staff can look into your account and let you know what’s really happening with these failed transactions.
