  • Hi @abdul810,

    Thanks for reaching out.

I understand that you’re experiencing an issue with leading zeros being removed from your SKUs when you export your product sheet and open it in Google Sheets.

In most spreadsheet software like Google Sheets or Excel, they often interpret numbers with leading zeros as insignificant data and automatically remove the zeros.

To prevent this, you can format the SKU column as ‘Plain Text’ instead of ‘Number’ before importing your data.

    I hope this helps.

How to convert SKU Column as ‘Plain Text’

    Hi @abdul810,

You can select the SKU column and click on Format > Number > Plain Text. However, I just tested this, and Google Sheets already removed the leading zeroes when opening the file, so you’d be forced to include them manually. This will at least help keep them when exporting the file again.

If I open the CSV file with other tools (even Windows Notepad!), I see the leading zeroes by default. So this is a limitation from Google Sheets, not from WooCommerce, though. I had the same problem with Office 365, though (since you’re trying online editors!). It may be best to work with other editors or ask for support in?Google’s community?about this limitation.
