    Hi,

my problem is that emails sent by WooCommerce have additional empty paragraphs added to them when the Mandrill plugin is active. Unfortunately I can’t add a screenshot here.

This happens with the old version 1.0 of the plugin but also with the newest version.

    What can we do?

    Thanks,
    Oliver

Hi, we are not experiencing this issue on our end and have not been able to recreate it. Can you possible put a screenshot in Google Drive / Dropbox and send a link so we can see more specifically what you are referring to? Thanks!

    Thanks! A couple questions:

? I’m guessing you don’t get these paragraph breaks when the plugin is turned off?

? There is an option in the plugin settings that reads:

“Replace all line feeds (“\n”) by <br/> in the message body?”

Have you tried checking and unchecking this to see if it makes a difference? If this is the culprit we still need to consider a fix but if we can isolate that as the issue then that would give us some good additional information. Thanks!

You’re right, that was it. Weird that I didn’t see it before, the checkbox feels kind of hidden.

But yes, that was the culprit. Maybe leave it unchecked as a standard setting? Feels like most people send out html emails these days.

    Thank you!

Thanks! I believe that would be unchecked by default but regardless I’ve opened up an ‘issue’ on our GitHub repository for this to be investigated more deeply:
    https://github.com/Miller-Media/send-emails-with-mandrill/issues/48

I just want to make sure we do a proper assessment of the implications of this either way but I think it’s a good idea!

I’m going to mark this resolved but will let you know as we have updates. Thanks!
