    Hello there,

Some of the WooCommerce Emails are in parts no longer translated. For instance the customer-processing-order. See below screenshot. This translation issue came up a couple of days ago.

    Any suggestions are very welcome!

    Thank you in advance.

    Frank

Hmm. I don’t see any relevant changes that were made recently…

This translation issue came up a couple of days ago.

Did this coincide with any other changes you made on your site (such as plugin updates)?

Can you also share a note of your language and locale? For instance, for some German-language sites this might be de_DE. You can find this by visiting WooCommerce ? Status (the currently configured language is listed in the first section).

Thanks for your answers. Sorry, I was wrong. You see it every day but do not realize… . Translation stopped in October 2023. WooCommerce Status displays as you guessed de_DE. Which is correct.

Thanks! We believe there may be an issue with our translations when running under WordPress 6.7, though that has not officially been released just yet (the current stable release being 6.6.2 at time of writing). Just to confirm, though, what version of WordPress are you using?

    Hi @pixelbiz

I’m wondering whether you’re running any email customization plugins or whether your theme is overriding the WooCommerce email templates. To confirm, please share a copy of your status report as found under WooCommerce > Status.

If that’s indeed the case, it’s important to note that those themes and plugins would also need to be localized to German in addition to that of the core WooCommerce plugin.

Thanks for your posting. Okay, let’s look to a different direction: Yes we do. Email Customizer Pro For WooCommerce is the additional plugin.

We finally found the solution. Email Customizer Pro For WooCommerce plugin caused the translation issues mentioned above. We used Loco Translation to fix that. The plugin was also responsible for a glitch. The total amount was covered by the title “Order Total” (see screenshot above). We adjusted the the css in the table data lines and now both lines are visible. If we may do so we would like to suggest that translations for this plugin become easier to handle and to resolve the visibility issue. Again, this are just suggestions. Thank you for directing our attention to email customization plugins! Thank you for your support. Kind regards.

    Hi @pixelbiz ,

We’re really glad to hear you’ve identified the issue and that Loco Translation helped fix the translation problems. It’s also great that you adjusted the CSS to fix the display issue with the order total. We appreciate your feedback and suggestions.

We’ll mark this as resolved, and I’m sure others with the same issue will find this helpful. If you need more help, feel free to open a new topic.
