Woocommerce email not sending after changing from adress

    Hello,

    Standard setup a gmail account was used for woocommerce email to send, now when i change the sender emailadress no mails are send anymore, i change it back to the gmail email and they send mails again.

    The email that i change is admin email so should not be a problem but no mails send when i change sender email

    Thanks for reaching out!

    To clarify, do you rely on the WooCommerce built-in email settings or are you using an SMTP/Email management plugin to manage your emails? Also, is the new email address also a gmail account, or is it a custom email?

    Additionally, are no emails being received or only specific email types? Have you checked that these emails have not landed up in the spam folder?

    In the meantime, I’d like to take a closer look at your sites current environment, please can you share a copy of your sites System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce?→?Status.

    Select Get system report and then Download for Support. This will download a TXT file that has the contents of the SSR which you can then share with us here.

    Hello Roxy,

    I am using the WooCommerce built in email settings no smtp.

    The email that we wanne use now is a email from the domainname.

    All emails to clients arive in there spam folder.

    Just to clarify, are emails with the newly added email address not sending at all OR are they they sending but landing up in customers’ spam folder?

    If the latter, spam filters check the IP address of origin, the sending user and domain, the amount of email that IP/sender has sent, how many times emails from that sender have been marked as spam, and the wording of emails.

    The most common factor is where the email originates, which?brings your overall score with spam filters down low enough that even minor differences in wording and formatting of WooCommerce emails may?be flagged as spam?and not sent.

    You can check and monitor the reputation of your sender email address and domain using tools like SenderScore. A poor sender reputation can increase the likelihood of emails being marked as spam.

    On the other hand, if I misinterpret your response in any way, please let us know ??

    Additionally, since this type of behavior is generally narrowed down to the email service provider (usually your web host), or the email address which you are using on your store, I would encourage you to check our?Email FAQ?which is a great resource to narrow down what could be causing this behavior.

    Hello,

    On a ohter cleint site i had once the same problem cause it only send from a email connected to administrator account, i added new admin account but still the mails dont send.

    Only the gmail email make them send out woocommere mails.

    The new sender email has no bad spamscore.

    Thanks for sharing that – its looking good.

    I see the screenshot you’ve shared in your original post is of the WooCommerce?→ Settings?→ Emails → “Email sender options” → “From” address input box.

    However, with regard to WooCommerce admin emails specifically, are you changing the email to the new email address for each email type via WooCommerce?→ Settings?→ Emails and clicking “Manage”:

    If that looks good, I would recommend logging whether an email is created and sent when using the new email address, by installing the?WP Mail Logging?plugin and following the below steps:

    • Generate a test order
    • Go to your WP Admin → Tools → WP Mail Log
    • Check that your test order generated an email, and if there are any sending errors reported (you can share the results with us here).

    I decided to use a smtp server for the woocommerce mailing.
    It was not only changing the mailaccount that gave problems also the spamscore for the standard wp_mail is not good for WooCommerce.

    Sometimes, WordPress’ default email function doesn’t always play well with certain server settings, and an SMTP plugin would be required to get your emails sending smoothly.
