  • Bart,

    OSX versie : 10.10.3
    Safari : Version 8.0.6 (10600.6.3)
    Chrome : Version 42.0.2311.152 (64-bit)
    Woocommerce : Version 2.3.9
    WooCommerce DYMO Print : 1.2.4.
    Shoplink: https://www.steampunk-heaven.nl

    Hi Bart!

I am using this plugin (pro version) for my customers’ website. Until the first of september (1/9/15) he didn’t have any problems. Now it simply is not working anymore in/with Google Chrome.

He has followed the instructions given above, without succes.

The link below, from the Google support pages, describes the depreciation of the NPAPI functionality. Is this also the reason why my customer has problems?
    https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/6213033?hl=nl

Could you help to fix the problem?

    Thanks!

    Helly Gys1984,

This is indeed because of the NPAPI functionality.
The DYMO team is currently investigating new methods to communicate with the DYMO drivers.

We’re currently BETA testing with our PRO plugin and until now it’s working good. Sometimes a bit limited (for example no support on Apple so far), but good.

As soon as the DYMO team has found a stable solution they will release a new version of the DYMO Label Software on dymo.com.
We’re going to update the plugin after that is finished.
There is no release date yet. (They are not quick at DYMO). We expect a stable release mid October.

For more information about the new communication method and our BETA tests see: https://support.wpfortune.com/hc/en-us/articles/204405121-WooCommerce-DYMO-Print-PRO-2-4-Beta-testers

    Best regards,
    Bart

    Hi Bart,

    Thanks for you quick response.

I will keep an eye for the update!

Is this resolved? I have no connectivity and haven’t figured out how to get it connected.

Running updated versions of WP and WC plus Chrome Version 48.0.2564.109 m and Dymo 8.5.3.

In debug I have printer selection and my printer type with IsLocal:true but IsConnected:false.
