Woocommerce Duplicate Product

When a product is duplicated it is assigned a different ID and is treated as a separate product.

I replicated the situation on my test site and I was able to order the original as well as the newly duplicated products.

If the product has the order number 25, it won’t let me put 50 on it.

I guess I couldn’t properly understand why should one require the order number when re-ordering a product. Did you mean the quantity?

When I duplicate a product, it won’t let me change the order. That is, the order in which that product should be displayed.

This section usually appears at the bottom of the product sheet.

Product details> Advanced> Order in menu.

Do you know what it could be?

I changed the menu order number for multiple duplicate products on my test site, and it functioned normally.

As the behavior could not be replicated, it appears this issue is specific to your configuration.

Please first make sure that your WordPress, WooCommerce and all other plugins are up to date.

Next, can you temporarily switch your theme back to Storefront and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce to see if that fixes the issue?

You are welcome to test this out on a staging site using a plugin like WP Staging.

If the issue still persists then please share a copy of your site’s System Status.

You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

Yes, that’s what I meant.

Everything duplicates it well. What does not let me change is the order of the product. The funny thing is that from the database if I can change it, the problem is when I want to change it in WordPrees.

With the rest of the products that I duplicate, it works fine. It only happens to me with the brand of a specific product.

I have also followed the steps you have told me, but the same thing keeps happening.
