    Hi,

I am using a website on WordPress & WooCommerce.
On WooCommerce I paste the direct link (at the backend) which I generate from my dropbox which I make a force download link which ends on “=1” so people can click “Download” button (on the frontend) and get the file instantly.

However when I click on it to get downloaded I get an error ” Failed Network Error ” and the downloading process gets interrupted almost 90% of the time. This happens on every browser.
If the link is used directly at the bar using any browser, it successfully downloads everything.

Take a look a short video of my problem visually:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/05vdbr34z8g49pk/Error%20Message.mp4?dl=0

My hosting provider has found what this is caused by:

    quote:
” I noticed that the download link for the product on your website is from Dropbox as shown here:

However, when the download is started the process runs on your website at this page:

As the file from Dropbox is 10 GB in size the download times out as the timeout limit for the LSAPI Apache module is exceeded.

Due to that nature of the shared hosting environment, this limit cannot be increased.

Additionally, as the archive which is downloaded via your website on our server is 10 GB in size each download of that file will generate a large amount of bandwidth. ” End quote.

Any suggestions what should I do to not redirect people to the direct link to my cloud (to limit links sharing) and provide them ” Force Download Link ” which if they click they will automatically start downloading as it should be using WooCommerce at the thank you page?
